Support Groups

People helping people is the general theme of most support groups.  In low vision support groups, people of all ages and walks of life come together to help each other cope with their vision loss.  Although you may not find all the answers to your particular vision problem, it’s amazing how just talking and listening can lift one’s spirits.
Starting a support group can be as easy as just calling a friend, who in turn, calls another friend.  Before long you have a group looking for things to do with all your collective energy and you can be a force to be reckoned with.
