WyCB Mission Statement

Mission Statement:
Inform, educate, encourage, and support those with visual impairments or blindness.

Wyoming Council of the Blind (WyCB) is an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind (ACB), a national organization of people who are blind, visually impaired, and sighted.  With over 70 state and special interest affiliates, ACB has influenced change in areas such as employment, education, transportation, and recreation.

WyCB holds the belief that people with vision loss should be accepted, valued, and respected for their individual accomplishments.  We encourage people to strive to be all they can be.

Everyone is welcome to join WyCB, regardless of visual status.  Our members range from the sighted to the totally blind.  Membership fees are $20 per year. As a member of WyCB, you will receive:

    the WyCB newsletter, "Sightings" and
the ACB monthly publication, "ACB Braille Forum"

WyCB is an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization.  We rely on fundraisers and the generosity of others to support our programs and initiatives. Your support is greatly appreciated. Checks may be mailed to:
